When I found this pattern, I thought it would be perfect for a dress that Eleanor of Aquitaine would have worn. I feel that it is very elegant and flattering, something that a woman who cared about her looks would love to be seen in. I am planning on making option B of this pattern. I have already found the most beautiful fabric at Hancock Fabrics. It is a green royalty broadcloth, that shimmers with lovely blue undertones. I will try to scan a picture in soon. I think I have found a fabric that I want to use for the underskirt, but I'm not sure if it will match the broadcloth, so I will have to check.
